What this policy covers

This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you share with The Biggest Little Notary — through the booking form, the appointment preparation checklist, the online notary waitlist, email, or in person.

Where your data lives

Booking and waitlist information is stored in our secure, access-controlled cloud database. Only the notary has staff access. Appointment data is used solely to schedule, confirm, remind, and complete your appointment.

Appointment preparation checklists

When you use our online preparation checklist tool, the description you enter is processed by an AI service to generate your checklist. Do not include sensitive details such as Social Security numbers, account numbers, or medical information in that description. Checklist requests are not linked to your booking record.

Notary journal records

Nevada law requires a journal entry for every notarial act. Journal records are confidential under NRS 240.120, are kept for the statutory retention period, and are disclosed only as the law requires. Journal records cannot be deleted at a customer's request because the law mandates their retention.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your information to anyone
• Share your information with marketers or data brokers
• Keep copies of the documents we notarize
• Retain images or copies of your identification beyond what Nevada law requires
• Send you marketing email without your consent

Retention

Appointment records are kept for business and tax record-keeping and then securely deleted. Notary journal records are retained for the period required by Nevada law.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the contact and booking information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (journal records excepted, as noted above). Email hello@thebiggestlittlenotary.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
