Services

The Biggest Little Notary provides mobile notary public services by a notary commissioned by the State of Nevada, serving Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and the greater Northern Nevada region. Appointments are scheduled through this website and are subject to confirmation.

Not legal advice

A notary public is not an attorney and cannot give legal advice, explain documents, help you choose or complete documents, or tell you whether you should sign. If you have questions about a document, please consult an attorney before your appointment.

Identification and willingness

Under Nevada law, every signer must appear in person (or, for electronic notarization, by an approved audio-video platform), present satisfactory evidence of identity, and sign willingly and knowingly. We must decline or stop a notarization if identification is insufficient, if a signer appears confused, coerced, or impaired, or if the document is incomplete. Statutory travel fees may still apply when we have traveled to the appointment (see our Cancellation & Payment Policy).

Appointments

Submitting a booking request does not guarantee an appointment. Appointments are confirmed only when accepted by the notary. We may ask you to choose another day or time. You may reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation email.

Fees

Notarial act fees are charged at the maximum rates permitted by Nevada law (NRS 240.100 and NRS 240.197). Travel fees are separate from notarial act fees, are agreed upon in advance, and are disclosed at booking. Current rates are listed on our Services & Pricing page.

Electronic notarization

Electronic and remote online notarization (RON) services are offered by waitlist until our approved platform is live. Joining the waitlist does not create an appointment or obligation on either side.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim arising from a notarial act is limited to the extent permitted by Nevada law. We maintain a surety bond and errors & omissions insurance as required for Nevada notaries.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of your appointment governs that appointment.
